Middlesex.

I’ve been trying to read Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides for about 8 months now, but I just cannot get into it no matter how hard I try. I’ve read about a dozen books in the interim between picking it up, but I just can’t finish this book.

I thought it was just because I’m an ADD-addled idiot, until this guy at a café saw me reading it and told me how he’s tried to read the book on 3 separate occasions and could never get through it either. So. At least I know there’s one other ADD-addled idiot out there.

Anyway, some google searching (I google everything and anything, if I could show you a history of my google searches… it’d be too ridic for life) led me to find I’m really not the only one who just can’t read this book.

I can’t read this book!!!! I bought it in a charity book shop and was excited because i’ve been wanting to read it forever…but I started it and just never got into it…I’m taking it on the plane with me, cause I figured I’ll be so bored, i’ll have to read it!
